Eppendorf – Expanding the scale of bioprocessing technology with DASGIP expertise
Hamburg/Jülich, June 18, 2012 – DASGIP Information and Process Technology GmbH, based in Jülich, Germany, a global technology leader in the field of parallel bioreactor technology and information technology, joined the prestigious Eppendorf group of companies last January. Before the friendly takeover of the bioprocess specialist, both parties pledged to provide positive momentum for the development and marketing of their bioreactor and bioprocessing software products.
Eppendorf and DASGIP's appearance at this year's Achema trade fair, from June 18 to 22 in Frankfurt, will provide both companies with the opportunity to display just how successful this "perfect mix" strategy can be. Only six months after the merger, the companies will present the first jointly developed products at this industry event. "With a unified spirit of innovation, combined with our New Brunswick product line, we are now able to offer additional excellent solutions in the field of bioprocessing," comments Eppendorf CEO Dr. Dirk Ehlers. "And the products presented here are just the beginning," continues Dr. Matthias Arnold, member of the DASGIP Management Board and Head of Development. "The next innovations are already in the pipeline."
