DASGIP Member of OPC Foundation

Since May 2009 DASGIP is official member of the OPC-Foundation.

OPC is open connectivity in industrial automation and the enterprise systems that support industry. Open connectivity is to be realized by open standards such as open data access to real-time data of various controllers, by data exchange between different lab devices and by historical data access (SCADA).

The OPC foundation is dedicated to creating and maintaining these open specifications that standardize the communication of acquired process data, alarm and event records, historical data, and batch data to multi-vendor enterprise systems and between production devices.

As member of the OPC foundation DASGIP offers a technology, which supports researching enterprises in establishing data management solutions meeting these specifications. Users can integrate lab devices such as autosamplers and analyzers into the bioreactor system and at the same time integrate the whole bioreactor system including the externally generated data into supervisory control systems.
