DASGIP Controller Takes Single-Use Bioreactor Technology to the Next Level
Disposable systems are increasingly used in animal cell culture as an alternative to traditional glass or stainless steel Bioreactors. The Thermo Scientific HyClone Single-Use Bioreactor (S.U.B.) combines the advantages of disposable bioreactor technologies such as ease-of-use, elimination of cleaning and sterilization procedures and the minimized risk of cross contamination, with traditional, proven stirred tank technologies. The DASGIP control system seamlessly integrates the complete family of Thermo Scientific HyClone bioreactors. All set-point and process values, including speed and temperature, can be accessed through the DASGIP Control user interface. The support of the 50L to 1000L Thermo Scientific HyClone S.U.B. allows scale up from bench-scale to pilot-scale using the excellent control and documentation capabilities of DASGIP.
